Events to look out for
Hope Night Hope Night is Project Hope's signature event. It occurs towards the end of the spring semester and features free food, games and performances, as well as homemade bubble tea. Hope Night attracts well over 500 people and raises approximately $1000 per event. Photos from previous Hope Nights may be found here, or on our Facebook page. *It is unknown whether this event will be held in Spring 2021 due to COVID, but come back for updates!
Hope Package Sale In the spirit of Thanksgiving, every year we present to the Cornell community Hope Packages. These packages consisted of cake pops, memes and a letter from a friend. At the end of the first two-week fundraiser, we sold 102 Hope Packages and raised over $550 in donations.
This sale is a huge success! Every $60 funds a child's education for a whole year, and every bag purchased equals to one month of education for one child. Overall, this means we helped 10 students get a whole year of education or 111 students each get one month of education in just the first run years ago and continue to do so every year.
Bake Sales Every year, we hold a few bake sale on campus, typically in Mann Library, Duffield Hall, Willard Straight Hall, or Statler Hall. We sell a variety of homemade goods such as sweet bread, cheesecake brownies, cake pops and our famous Giant Panda cookies.
Milk Tea and Boba Tea Sales One of our most popular recent events was our milk tea sales in Willard Straight Hall. Freshly made black or taro milk tea with optional bubbles made the night before that comes in cute mason jars. *These events are unlikely to run in 2020-2021 and did not run in spring 2020 due to COVID
