100% of our proceeds go directly to funding the school children in rural China. Stay updated by checking us out and liking us on Facebook.
Hope Night Hope Night is Project Hope's signature event. It occurs towards the end of the spring semester and features free food, games and performances, as well as homemade bubble tea. Hope Night has attracted well over 500 people and has raised approximately $1000 per event. Photos from previous Hope Nights may be found here, or on our Facebook page.
Cake Pop Sale In continuation with the cake pop idea that was founded for last semester's Hope-Package Sale, we made and sold 183 cake pops over the course of 3 days. Each cake pop supported the education of a child in rural China.
At the end of our sale, we received about $500 in donations, all of which are being sent to our partner school. It was an amazing success, and we are looking forward to seeing where this fundraiser takes us in the future!
Hope Package Sale In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we started a new fundraising initiative called Hope Packages. These packages consisted of cake pops, memes and a letter from a friend. At the end of this two-week fundraiser, we sold 102 Hope Packages and raised a total of $554 in donations.
This new sale was a huge success! Every $60 funded a child's education for a whole year, and every bag purchased equated to one month of education for one child. Overall, this means we helped 10 students get a whole year of education or 111 students each get one month of education.
Bake Sales Every year, we hold a few bake sale on campus, typically in Mann Library, Duffield Hall, or Statler Hall. We sell a variety of homemade goods such as sweet bread, cheesecake brownies, and our famous Giant Panda cookies.
